Growing regions
CostaExchange sources avocados from farms in North, Central and South East Queensland, Northern NSW, the "tristate" region, South Australia, Western Australia and also New Zealand. We also have a small plantation in Renmark, South Australia.

Growing methods
We have relationships with a diverse range of farms across many different regions, meaning growing practices vary a great deal. We have both mainstream and organic orchards within our supply pool.
Our focus is on ensuring that the fruit we market is of optimum quality and satisfies the needs of our customers, their customers and consumers.
Selection and storage
CostaExchange's state of the art cool room and ripening facilities ensure that avocados are stored in optimum conditions. Costa has developed an industry leading team of Ripeners in each state. The business works closely with Simpson Farms and the Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation, to continue developing industry leading post harvest methodology, and to ensure continual improvement in fruit integrity throughout the supply chain.
Our QC teams provide intake and despatch assessments of every consignment in real time so there is complete transparency of fruit condition at all times.

Distribution
Avocados are delivered in an optimum state of ripeness and we work closely with our customers to monitor quality control and consumer satisfaction.
As part of Costa's ongoing commitment to environmentally sustainable practices, we also work closely with customers in this regard. Where possible, packaging is both made from recycled material and/or is recyclable itself.
