We also work with some of our partners in research and development, so we can continuously improve on and innovate in varietal development.
Join Venture Partners

We partner with Driscoll’s and also market our berries under the Driscoll’s® brand. Our role as a world leader in blueberry genetics is supported by this partnership with some of our varieties being licensed throughout many parts of the USA. We continue to work with Driscoll’s in other key areas of berry research and development.

Wadda Bananas and Costa operate a partnership in relation to property situated in the Innisfail hinterland of Far North Queensland that supplies bananas to the wholesale and retail sectors. Over the next 3 years the partners are looking to increase combined production, including fruit from its 3rd party alliance partners, to more than 3.5 million cartons per annum.

African Blue is a joint venture in Morocco between the CostaExchange Berry category, Agrogailes, Total Berry (UK) and Mountain Blue Orchards (Ridley Bell and Family) Australia. African Blue supplies global customers counter seasonal to Australia utilizing CostaExchange genetics & expertise.

In the mushroom category, Costa has a valued alliance with Monterey Mushrooms, recognised world-wide as a leader in the growing and supply of premium quality mushrooms.

Our grape supply to the Australian market is supplemented by high quality Californian table grapes from Sun World. We market Sun World brands here in Australia as well as importing produce for sale during our winter months. We also work together in the area of varietal research and development.
